Clarkston Medical Group was founded in Clarkston by James O’Neill, M.D., a pediatrician, nearly 45 years ago. Over the years, he has trained more than 150 physicians.

Five practicing partners are: James O’Neill, M.D. (Founder), Tim O’Neill, D.O., (President), Renny Abraham, M.D., Dean Moscovic, D.O., and Mohammed Amin, M.D.

Each year more than 10,000 families receive their medical care from the Clarkston Medical Group.

Currently 10 board certified primary care providers specializing in family practice, internal medicine and pediatrics, five emergency/urgent care physicians and over 120 nursing and support staff ensure patients receive their care in an efficient manner.

CMG provides 24-hour 7-day a week access to urgent care and its emergency physicians.

The mission of CMG is the foundation for all our affairs as an independent community healthcare center. Above all else, our mission is to “receive our patients and focus on delivery of the highest quality medical care. We put the patient first, we are a group of medical and administrative care givers and we are health care professionals.

CMG physicians participate in many clinical studies that provide their patients with access to medications and treatment options that not otherwise be available to them.

Actively involved as personal and professional members of the community, CMG participates in SCAMP, Clarkston Rotary Club, Independence Township Parks and Recreation sports leagues, Relay for Life, and Clarkston Chamber of Commerce.
